Soon the word spread that he was a holy spirit. The wife of the Chief of the village started to take care of his welfare admiring his desire to meditate and do good at such a young age. At the age of 16 Sai Baba came to Shirdi and started doing deep meditation under the Neem tree and did so for several days altogether without any food or water. Lord Sai Baba’s date of birth is still not known to anyone and there is no record of it. Saibaba was born to a Brahmin couple and his biological parents didn’t take care of him.
